Tanzania tours: small group safari Create your own Tanzania safari
This cost-efficient option allows you to build your own independent safari in Tanzania to some of the world's greatest wildlife parks. You'll feel as if you've walked onto the set of a National Geographic documentary complete with lazy lions, bellowing elephants and thousands of grazing gnus and zebras. You'll travel by 4x4 with an English-speaking driver/guide in small groups of up to 6 people. In an effort to keep our safaris affordable, you'll stay in charming lodges just outside of the wildlife parks rather than inside the actual parks. Here the price of accommodation is much lower (and accommodation just as nice!). In the Serengeti and Lake Natron, you'll sleep beneath the stars in your own tent or, if you prefer, you can stay at a lodge. Click here for more information on our Tanzania safari park options. * Small group safaris (maximum of 6 participants) are available starting September 2010. However all of our trips can also be done privately. |

Tanzania tours: group safari Private camp in the bush
There's no better way to experience safari than by camping in a wildlife park. During this Tanzania adventure tour, you'll sleep in the heart of the bush beneath the stars, in our mobile private camp. Everything you could possibly need will be brought along, from pots and pans to a toilet and a personal chef! You'll visit Tarangire National Park, known for its population of elephants and beautiful baobab trees. Then, you'll explore the endless plains of the Serengeti, looking for wild animals. While your personal chef prepares delicious meals for you in the evenings, you can relax by the campfire. You'll also travel down into the Ngorongoro Crater, filled with wild animals and your tour ends with a night in our comfortable lodge or tented camp in Karatu. Tanzania tours: Kilimanjaro trek Africa at your feet
This is a truly amazing and hugely rewarding Tanzania adventure tour. It's impossible to describe the feeling you'll get when you reach the top of Kilimanjaro. Africa will be quite literally at your feet. Accompanied by professional mountain guides and porters, you'll hike through the tropical forests at the foot of Kilimanjaro before trekking through several different vegetation zones and past icy glaciers. You'll spend the night in modest tents that you'll put up yourselves. Every day, you'll sleep in completely different surroundings, from rolling green plains to bizarre lunar landscapes. Anyone who is healthy and who has a reasonable level of physical fitness can reach the top. It's a challenge that will take your all, but it's definitely worth it. |
